Rereading Messages

by xoxShorteexox   Dec 16, 2011

Rereading all the messages with the same
blushing smile on my face; thinking of you
whispering your name each night before
I close my eyes for the night's lonely slumber.

I sigh hopelessly unsuccessfully attempting
to fall asleep without a word from you at all,
my mind runs over the possible reasons why
you aren't online, but the more I think the worse they get.

Staring at the wall trying not to shed a tear
for fear it'd pain you to know you caused me to cry,
hugging the pillow tightly to my chest rereading
old messages that melt my heart all over again.

So I'll reread another message and lay my
fears to rest that this could be a fruitless love,
close my eyes sleepy with renewed hope,
and wait for you to appear in my dreams once more.

This is actually very sad but written in love.
It's hard not to know for sure what someone else is thinking or doing. You penned the all mighty question "is it real" though worded more delicately.
Always have hope, erase fears of "what if". Only time gives the right answers.

    Have faith
Nicely done, with feelings of absolute wonder
