Moments of love

by Bobbie   Dec 28, 2011

When you wake up with that smile still on your mind
With fast fading memories of adventures of all kind
The body stretching out lazily for the action of the day
Unconscious moments of love, not allowed to stay

When you let the hot shower gently pamper your skin
Your tangled mind still struggling over sleep to win
As soapy bubbles of foam tingle anywhere they may
Liquid moments of love, soon to be flushed away

When you slowly dress, picking your delicates with care
Comparing colors and garment on what finally to wear
Candidate to attract whoever with a figure well shaped
Vulnerable moments of love, feelings carefully taped

When you read the morning paper and sip your lemon tea
Looking forward into a day of work or maybe friends to see
Enjoying the domestic atmosphere of harmony and peace
Soft-boiled moments of love, just simply there to please

When you stroll around the shopping malls in a sensual glare
And horny males for just one moment hope you are aware
As their eager faces are begging for your sympathy and care
Banal moments of love, in everyday reality so hard to bear

When you dine and have a drink with friends in a trendy cafe
And laugh, play cards or just listen to what they have to say
As the skin gradually starts glowing by the influence of red wine
Sociable moments of love, causing headaches from time to time

When you still long for that thrill, slipping into your satin gown
Softly absorbed by the warm bed to force that tension down
Touched by the sacred moment when entering your hall of fame
Whispering moments of love, promising never to be the same

When your body and mind melt together in breezes and waves
And suns and stars are crashing into your deepest sensual caves
In this land for dreamers, uncensored with always an open end
Unlimited moments of love, in the backwoods of a promised land
