Two loves one mind

by Bobbie   Feb 16, 2012

A confusing dilemma of an entwined mind
Two faces so clear but to each other blind
Me watching and speaking to both of you
Fulfilling a need for love and comfort too

When I belong to one the other must sleep
Strong check and balances I need to keep
Only one of you knows of the other's fate
And can talk openly to me about this state

Not always easy to focus on just one of you
Making love not thinking of the other too
Looking into eyes brown as well as blue
Longing for the impossible I should not do

Your characters I cannot and would not mix
Both your personalities too unique for tricks
Need to enjoy the moments of each in full
Burning on one side leaving the other cool

I love you both deeply with all my heart
Developed in time with a different start
My flammable mind somewhat confused
Cupid smiles and seems really amused
