Beans are good for the heart

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 3, 2012

"Fee-fi-fo-fum "
some rhymes are dumb
Jack grew a big bean stalk
where giants talk that talk
Hickory trickery dock can''t
nurse lines round the clock
Ring a Ring o' Roses, the issue it posses
like the black death with the last breath
shallow rhymes of earlier times. What the hell
We could and would of course have to force
ding dong bell pussy's in the well.

Michael I totally agree with you.

Some of the children's rhymes are so terrible

Like the Ring a Ring o' Roses - the kids sing this (I used to sing this) not knowing what the hell it meant. But it sounds fun and rhymes and the kids love it but yes it is in relation to the black plague. The Roses tissues represent tissues filled with blood. We all fall down? That means they died. So not right!!!

The other one I find sad is Humptey Dumptey. Such a sad rhyme for the kids to read. They couldn't put him back together again. That kinda sucks lol

I really enjoyed this and as this is something I agree with I believe it deserves a nomination.

    Well done!!!
