You and me

by Leanne   Jan 9, 2012

The distance is just crippling

When you're not here I'm slipping in

And out of my reality

And drifting into fantasy

But every once in a while

I gotta open my eyes and smile

To keep from crumbling to my knees

In the realisation that this debris

That I see

Before me

Use to be

You and me

This is a great piece, i would only suggest you put commas in some lines coz they seem to be continuous but then start with a capital letter in the other line...overall, i loved this poem and i give it a 5
