I'm Forever Yours

There's moments that I feel unsure
of what we will be when tomorrow
comes and if the feelings are actually
as real as they make this all feel,
but then I feel myself so drawn to you
and it all becomes so clear; I'm yours.

Even if there's times when it seems
to be going down a long hill with no
chance of regaining control of what
we both seem to hold so dear to us,
I hope that you always know that this
is true; I'm yours no matter what happens.

The moments when we don't talk at all
when doubt seems to come flowing into
my mind just like a sickness I can't seem
to fight, I have to take a step back and
clear my mind from these lying thoughts,
so I whisper to myself, "I'm yours."

Darling, I hope when you have these
moments of doubt or long hills with no escape
that you think about everything I've told
you and remind that no matter what happens
or who tries to bring us down that I love you
and that I'm forever yours as you are mine.
