The Way You See Me

It seems
as though your thoughts of me
are not justified
by any means

You glance at me
with loathing eyes
though...
You should be seeing me
through an open heart

No kind words to offer
such a broken soul
No words of wisdom
to bestow

Just pure hatred
intended for me

I know
that I may not be perfect nor...
beautiful

but...

you seem to think it's ok
to remind me of this?

I question myself -
and my life
for you see me as nothing

and it kills me

    I can't believe your mothering law makes you feel this way. It makes me angry when someone makes me feel this way so I can only imagine how you feel.

    I have to be honest I loved this poem as it came off so honest and open. A sad write but it was very well worded
