Put The Maddness Down, I'll Stand By You

by CathyButterflyJC   Jan 19, 2012

You act like you could be in the best hockey player in the world
Hockey is your life
And you watch every game
Your life arolves around your own games
Hockey is your world

If only you could take the step to quitting
You could accomplish your dreams
See the light up ahead
If you'd quit and save your life

Your time alive is shortning
As you smoke a pack a day
You act like your fine
But we can see you slowing down

Days have come were your coughing up blood
Your insides are weakening
And your lungs have a cold
You complain about your ribs
And you complain about your legs
But you deny the fact you'll die after a short life one day

Your love for running has become a chour
Your clothes stink
And when you talk about smoking I wanna scream

You deserve better then this
Don't you know
Don't you know your life was better before this

Your idea of fun is killing me
You smoke a pack a day
And you've gotten drunk with your brother on the weekend

Reach for the stars
You have the ability to reach high enough
And take more then you can ever dream

Let your life show what you can be
I believe in you
Believe in me, when I say, we can fight through this

Have you ever noticed how I turn my head away
When you pull one out and light it
I hid my face so you won't see the tears
It starts out as a single drop
Drifting down my cheek
I swallow and take a deep breath
So I can pretained to be all right again

You deserve so much better then this life
Choice the path in life with so much support and hope
I believe in you, and everything you do
You'll be a star hockey player one day
Boys like you will be chatting away
On the bus and at school
Praticing to be like you each day

Don't let them down
Your future fans
I believe you can quit
Let me quide you through it

Now I won't give up
I'll always stand by you
You're a friend
And I won't let you suffer through
You deserve better

Your amazing
And your smart
Shown me up in class every chance you've got
Proves your brain is working fine
Showed you can be the smart guy

So don't pass out all your breaths to poison
Safe your breath for the good times ahead
Don't let them be full of sorrow
From you and me, and your family
We all care about you
I won't give up on you
Remember that
And be the bright star, not the darkness!

OMG! Where do I really begin to adore this distinguished display of excellence in Love?? Honestly speaking, it is more than tongue can tell...how sincerely dedicated one has chosen to go, just to restore a fast straying destiny, arrested by acute smoking..which he ignorantly mistakens for good life! Oh!, poor him.. However, I'm so excited his weakness couldn't suppress the degree of positive attention, already gathered by the chum, on the narrating side, for him. What then is love, outside the zeal to care and bear each other's hunting lines of imperfection!, willing to stand through the shame untill he's tame to soar into fame! Forgive me..though, I'm already turning jealous, lol.. Much enjoyed the read. You can as well resort to prayers where Health tips fail. When he's functionally balanced, learn.., he will never forget you! So, fight.., to the finish!...untill you overcome his addiction! Take 5!
