Alice and Dorothy In Whateverland

by RainbowSlider   Jan 26, 2012

Alice had thought that she had saw it all.
She had been normal, small and quite tall.
But getting out of the rabbit hole one day
Thought this isn't Wonderland in any way.

She did her best to clean her dress of dirt.
Sad of friends she had lost and had hurt.
It was dark in the hole and dark outside.
With her head in her hands she just cried.

She wondered if her sister could know her.
So much had changed and life was this blur.
It was quiet and she grew lonely in the dark.
A red robin flew beside her serene as a lark.

It lit and pearched atop the log Alice sat on.
The robin looked at Alice as she was wrong.
"I used to be a girl" it said nonchalantly so.
"Oh, really" said Alice; "Anybody I 'd know".

"Probably not" said the robin; "Whatever".
"I take it that you are lost my little feather".
"I am actually an angel and just like a bird."
"That is the strangest thing I have heard."

"By the way my name is Dorothy, my dear."
"It is really nice for you to come this near".
"I used to live in Kansas; So very long ago".
"Life is a whirlwind where the winds blow".

"Have you ever thought life can be so crazy?"
"I used to know a Chesire cat who was lazy."
"I have known some strange cats in my time".
"I once had this friend who liked to do mime".
