A girl

by Innocent Fairy   Feb 1, 2012

A girl,
once lost, dreamt
and then weeped.
Pain shattered into her heart,
reality is too revealing.

A girl,
dreams but can't grasp
and love has yet passed.

A girl,
once liked
is now a friend.

A knife!
now plunged into her heart
and burns with fire!
To her desires and
what's lost.

Perhaps it's for the better
for the future she dreams
but mystery stands in-between.

Love has yet to pass,
reality comes so fast
and what's left,
a shrouded girl,
who stands.

I love the vividness of this poem. Such heartbreak. The knife in the heart makes me think of being backstabbed and how it effects how you feel

    Awesome!
