Alone in this rain,
Tears I couldn't restrain
As it touches my face,
Evading time and space
These jet-black thunderclouds,
Rolling above while I drown

Underneath the stars
Wherever you are,
You turn my life upside down
I need your arms around

Embrace me forever, tonight
I need you by my side
We'll forget the past,
Save me because I'm fading so fast

Sedate me with your kiss,
Loose my strength and sensations
It's no accident, can you see?
If heaven made such sophistication
You're my kryptonite
And here I'll lay so sublime

Underneath again the stars
Remember, we're not so far
Like a spotlight shinning down,
I need your arms around

Embrace me forever, tonight
I need you by my side
We'll let go of the past,
Save me because, all is fading so fast

Take me away from eternal darkness,
Don't leave my skies starless
If the cold snap in your heart,
Say this love so bleeding apart
Wishing you and I
Pressing our palms tonight

Underneath these shooting stars,
Coincide and healed each scars
That you change my life
See what you meant in my eyes

So embrace me forever, tonight
With you, everything feels so right
Break this endless illusion
You're the reason why I go on.

    Some really good lines in this poem- although it was all fantastic.

    "These jet-black thunderclouds,
    rolling above while I drown"

    - Such lovely imagery here, vivid, sad, and beautiful. Good word choice.

    "Because you change my life
    See what you meant in my eyes"

    - One of my favorite lines.

    I feel that your poetry always manages to really make me think or feel something powerful in some way or another. 5/5

    When we find that one person who heals us mentally as well as emotionally making us whole, been separated from that person even for a day makes us feel miserable. It is a kind of love that heals everything just lying in their arms..I find this a touching write..take care.
