First Night

by xoxShorteexox   Feb 5, 2012

Laying in the tall grass with her hand enlocked with her love's, stealing innocent glances between his handsome face and the stars, watching the breeze gently blow his hair in his face, pushing the strand of hair out of his face, as their eyes lock from just a gentle gesture, she begins to blush.

Sharing secrets and soft kisses beneath the lightening sky while letting the sounds of the night be the soundtrack of their love, hoping the night together helps them overcome their fears, as they move in close for another kiss.

He feels her trumble with each gentle touch he gives her, watching the moon light up her pink cheeks, his smile grows wider with each small thing she does in such a shy manner, he pulls her close and holds her tight for the perfect end to the best night.

Awww, this is a very sweet and cute poem. It reminded me of innocent young love, when the two are really shy and do sweet gestures to show each other how they feel.

You told a lovely story, and I loved your descriptions. I really loved the first stanza.

    Great poem!
