Daddy Don't leave

by Brandy Craig   Feb 19, 2012

Watch little girl
As daddy drives away
Your knight in shinning armor
Doesn't want to stay.

Listen little girl
For yo will hear the engine no longer
She whispers "Daddy, daddy don't leave"
"I promise I'll be stronger"

Daddy, Daddy don't leave
I promise I'll be good
Daddy please...Don't walk out the door
This is something I've never understood.

Poor little Girl
Clinging on to his jacket for life
Do you see the tears in her eyes,
She's giving in.
Forget little one, This was never a
Fight you'd win.

Watch little girl
As daddy shoots himself
Your knight in shinning armor dead instead.
