Rest In Peace My Son

by Brandy Craig   Jan 10, 2013

I remember sittin in the doctor's office;
Remember him telling me your pregnant;
Remember Yelling I wanted to die.
I remember the look on my mother's face,
I remember the rumors started at school;
The pain I went through,
the pain of pushing you out.
I remember them saying "it's a boy!"
I remember holding you for the first time,
And never wanting to let go.
So much love in my eyes,
It was love at first sight.
I remember you getting sick at just 15 months old,
I remember watching you take your last breathe in my arms;
Never wanting to leave your side,
they took you away from me.
You were my life, my world
Rest in Peace My son.

    I could never understand the pain of losing a child, but my thoughts are with you, no matter how long it could have been.. I know the pain is still fresh.
