Waxy Tears

Another night of
achy eyes and
stars as bright
as the love In my heart.

Burning a dragons blood
hand made from a willow
I desire comfort from
worry and sorrow.

"Love me like there
Is no tomorrow",
his whispers linger,
as eyelids sing a lullaby.

Mixing tears
with evergreen wax
anointing my soul
with hope for tomorrow....

    I found this piece to be sad sort of with a melancholic tone but still with hope that a better tomorrow will come. I see achy eyes like when one spends the night crying then they tend to hurt.
