The Banks of Sanity in an Insane World

by Glenn G   Mar 18, 2012

The mind is like a river with sanity for its banks holding back the flood of depression and confusion as best it can, but as life goes on and continues to rain its heavy burdens on you, your banks become pushed, erosion begins and you find yourself unable to cope.
You ask those in your life to let up a little and yet the clouds get darker and rain heavier 'til one day you find yourself wondering can I make it another day? And if not what happens to your mind the day the banks give way? I would think it's different for each of us. Right now I just wonder about myself.

A very strong analogy... very throught-provoking...
    I really liked this. 5/5
