Alice Of The Abyss

by RainbowSlider   Mar 28, 2012

When I was so afraid to let go
Told me to let my feelings flow.
Someday I would lose control
Only then would I be off parole.
That you could fly beside me
To a place where we were free.
Told me not to be afraid to fall
For I can get back up after all.
That if you do it then so can I
And that someday I could fly.
I would try to let go but fail
And how I would feel so frail.
The cocoon webbed so tight
I felt constricted in my might.
Told me to let others share
So freedom would be there.
Alice, you would be so proud
For the freedom was allowed.
And I felt so free and so light
On this first time of my flight.
