Weepin' Willow Tree

by Glenn G   Apr 5, 2012

Weepin' Willow so sad yet green
Weepin' from all you've heard and seen
For the soldiers who've died at war
Their widows left lonely and poor
For a world full of moral decay
The children of tomorrow as well as today
For the hate that fills the air
From people too selfish to care
For those persecuted for the color of their skin
Making void the beauty within
For those in despair who have given up hope
The alcoholics and people on dope
For those who suffer from starvation
The past, present and future generations
Weep O' Weepin' Willow tree
Weep for others; weep for me
