It's A Sad World

It's a sad world in which we live
Where it's better to receive than it is to give

A world where it's ok for married people to have an affair
Where it's legal to kill the unborn 'cause not enough care

A world where color of ones skin can bring a person to hate
Where they look in the mirror and still feel ok

A world where children go hungry while criminals get fed
Where the poor sleep homeless; the rich in a bed

A world where husbands and wives divorce; the same sex get wed
Where gangs do a drive by and the innocent lay dead
