Snowflake

Snowflake

(40 lines)

I was wearing his snowflake necklace
Around my letdown neck
It brings back memories of his embrace
Being relived in a random deck

I feel an unstoppable now
You hit me high
You hit me low
And watch me die

I can't believe your gone
It hurts me so much
It digs in me right on
Like the sharpest touch

I feel let down
Pushed around
Tossed to the side
I want off this painful ride

I wear this treasured memory case
Around my neck hanging
Flashbacks of our traveled phase
I listen to it's singing

I remember that day sticking to me clearly
It was my special day and you were there
Back then we both loved each other dearly
Now I'm left to stare at the presents here

Memories come to me all day
Some bolt in me and stay to slay
My smiles as I remember the love that lay
I relive dating you moment in every way

I wish you had hung onto me
Not let go of what we could be
So much hope I wish you could see
What does love always have to leave

We fall like a snowflake
Blow down fast by the wind
Left to die because you thought feelings were fake
But why couldn't true love be a find

What more can I say
You took my soul away
It kills me everyday
Everywhere the pictures stay
