Oh Glory

by Maple Tree   Apr 23, 2012

There are feelings within me
that I simply can't ignore,

These hazel eyes freeze at
the very site of a giant-

Colossal formation stands before me,
knees knocking, lips quivering,

as the sun shines upon your glory-
Blessed within my orgasmic vision

of you-

A tree with mirrors, an architectural statue,
designed with levels of heightened peaks,

leaving me spiral dancing, spinning out of control-

our union takes us to the sky, Oh glorious tower,
allow me to reach the top of your building,
and fall blissfully into that sensual fountain below....

    Andrea, this poem is wonderful.

I love the image of a tree with mirrors, a tall glass building with reflection! I love how even though you are talking about buildings and architecture you always find a way to bring it back to nature.

Sometimes I am in awe at my surroundings when it comes to buildings, how they were designed and created. I guess it helps that I work for a construction company lol

This poem was awesome, the flow was beautiful!
