Daylight Donuts

by RainbowSlider   Apr 30, 2012

Its great to feel in love, again.
But I know she is just a friend.
Was fun to find another soul.
But I feel like the donut hole.

Been making donuts a while.
Glad love is not out of style.
To know that I can still feel.
No need to reinvent wheel.

Love comes around sweet.
Being with her was a treat.
Mixing the dough and stir.
Cookie cutter cut out girl.

Toss her in the hot grease.
Love is not some disease.
She looks nice and fluffy.
Not what you call stuffy.

Dust her with sugar now.
Watch me rise and how.
But she is a donut hole.
Looks so sweet though.

Put her with rest on pan.
Think of her when I can.
Whose is to really know.
If I eat the donut hole.
