My Beautiful Eyes

by Yrem Crish   May 8, 2012

I used to hear his laughter,
As he described the world around us;
My heart felt grateful
when he told me things were beautiful;
He gave colors to my dark life,
And molded the nature
in my innocent mind...

He described everything
that my eyes can't see

He told me about the butterflies
Pouring colors to the flowers,
he told about the sky
Portraying the wide blue sea,
he told about the green fields
Dancing in the wind breeze,
he told about the sunshine
Sparkling to my eyes;
And he told about the sunset
daring as like my lips...

He told me about everything,
that my eyes can't see

I used to hear his sweet voice,
when he told me things were beautiful;
"How this beautiful look like?"
The question I always asked,
"It looks like you"
The words he always answered too.
I just drew a smile
And said nothing, but
Yes! I was a blind.

Now, my world changes
I miss his laughter
The beautiful world he portrayed;
The colors in my dark life,
and the nature he planted in my eyes...

The butterflies and the flowers,
the sky and the wide blue sea,
the green fields in the wind breeze,
the sunshine that sparkling in my eyes,
and the sunset daring as like my lips...

I miss everything now,
because my eyes can see...

"How could these things look beautiful?"
The question that I always asked,
Reminiscing about him and my tear drops
While holding this letter,
Written before he died...
"Please take care of my beautiful eyes".
