PAIN

Its too hard to explain the pain away
when its buried so deep
within
You must pretend
that it goes away
goes away on the wind

There will be better days up ahead
though its hard to believe
Take hold of your senses
ride on the wind
and pretend,

    Pretend, pretend, pretend...

    and after pretending.. what is left?
    I guess, I can understand this piece and that I shouldn't take it too literally, I don't like pretending but I also know that depends on the circumstances and in the situations, where one should pretend.. for instance, perhaps the pain of love? pretend that it doesn't hurt and try to live life and hopefully eventually the pain will go away.. But the pain of illness.. that one is hard to pretend.

    Sorry, If I misunderstood your poem.
