Ellipsis ...

by dan   Oct 18, 2012

Too gross to comprehend
lay a sandal chard
twisted steel from a car
the front wall blown away
the remainder in flames
children playing down the roadway
young girls skipping rope
little boy's army games

Colgate Pamolive soap ...

yet the sky above
remains blue with
hardly a wisp of clouds
only the black smoke
now hugs along the ground
we are what we are
screams and wailing from those that loved
some dancing are those that hate
with all the answers
spring will come again
another piece of time
has been stripped away
I clicked to off
then went to bed ,,, to dream
I will awake tomorrow
With no memory of today
