This isn't me

This is not how you should see me this is not who I am
these are just my feelings of sadness and despair

When hope has no meaning and and no one is there
This is how I vent when my feelings become too hard to bare

There are people to talk to and and say they care
But are they really listening or do they just look around and stare

Now in your face I am looking for a sign
Of what I am unsure please tell me it's better than what's in my mind

But this is only today who am I to say that tomorrow isn't going to be a better day
