Carol's last act

by Mattias Ostling   May 20, 2012

O! Sweet sorrow--
her feeble hands, shaking.
Once she was happy and joyful
But now she sings only Mater Dolorosa
Her spirit ripped and torn, but her legacy intact
Even as the hearse turns around corner
Everyone is suddenly a mourner
Whilst she wafts we freeze
for we only have
A mackinaw

Wow. I love the style..the you write it and the words of choice are perfect. I like the way you put in perfect placed the punctuation marks..it gives more impressionable style to the whole piece. It is perfectly written. Great job!

I like the metaphors, the images, and the deep feelings of this piece. I can hear the sadness in between the lines. It flowed with ease and delieverd the piece so smoothly.

    Great job.
