Defense Mechanism [vent]

Safety first
wear your seat belt
protect yourself
you never know when
you will be dealing with an extreme situation
keep yourself in the right state of mind
don't loose your cool...
breathe

when the cool is lost
and your mind set loose
like a wild dog,
chasing cars of fantasy
only oblivion awaits
when the chains of apathy no longer
keep you grounded to reality
when the safety is off
and the gun is loaded

*click*

*gasp*

safety on a gun is a brilliant
life saving defense mechanism

and so is the right state of mind

    Sounds like this is written from an experience. Safety is important and a MUST! Things done carelessly and without thinking about the safety issues will result in devastating results...hope all is well with you..take care.
