Baby Acid Queen

by RainbowSlider   Jun 13, 2012

Another day sober and another day clean.
Thanks to you, Alice, My baby acid queen.
Panic attack from hell with bows and lace.
As I fall into that wonderful leaping place.
Kisses so sweet and the angel in the night.
Hugs that lingered far into the dawn light.
Clawed razors and fangs that gnash deep.
Nightmare returns as I try again to sleep.
The craving burns and substitutes found.
Floating disapates as I safely do ground.
Then remember is was but an old dream.
Flashbacked for my recovery in a stream.
Lest, I forget and conjure it to wee mind.
Because demons are real but left behind.
There is nothing to scare but evil craving.
Glad happy, joyous and free by behaving.
