Gracious manners and indecent morals

by Khalid M Darwish   Jun 16, 2012

We're both showing people detest,
while appreciable to one another.
Eyes are telling us what we need,
and hearts show many things to bother.

The watcher cannot hide all secrets,
and most error owners are in tempt.
How do people miss hearsay,
if hearts and eyes are unkempt?

Indecent morals remain homeless,
not emulating the gracious manners,
Reprehensible qualities have to perish
Noble qualities will raise their owners

Gossiping, lying or fraud neither stay
nor the slander, adultery or betray!
Charity, honesty or sympathy do last!
So do who save inviolabilities and pray
