Held But Disdained

by Matthew Anthony   Jun 19, 2012

Washed up from the rain
held but disdained
taken too much
too much to my brain

fell from a plane
caught by a clowed
and whisked through a current
straight into a plow

my thoughts are insane
though I can contain
its useless and ruthless
I can't quite explain

climb into the ground
the earth packs around
and brakes me it takes me
now I can't get out
