Wilderness of Glass

by Armada the Gestalt   Jun 21, 2012

Through the veil of a thousand lines I see
pushing the membrane outwardly
with the hands shaking
from hidden meanings

Israfel Israfel Israfel
Laden with whispers of songs he tells
Through another in 'nother lines he sees
And he finds and he gives
and some falls to me

even if you're looking I don't think you'll find it
if you search
if you beg
Even if
Sometimes you'll stumble and then you'll fall
It's like a memory, drawing itself along

It takes the hands and the mind and the eyes
And from innerwards comes a stain of thought
Like a skein and wither
Please come hither
In the dance of the letters and the curves and the strings

Israfel Israfel Terpsichore
she is wandering slow-dance and lies
Tongue tripping fingers and words like bones
In the hallowed earth smothered by shivering stones
Clay-born and fire-born and metal-made

In the hands and the eyes and the cradle of thoughts there is
A magic a seidr a rune-wrought thoughts there is
There is.

Come to the mind of a million kind
and the echoes between strangers hint at something deeper behind
running the paths of neurons withered with time I find,

I find.

Israfel Terpsichore whispers inside she knows
She gives
and the meanings of lines comes apart
like threads
beauty in chaos of mine
and time
and making

it's a gift and it means something this language of dreams
no intention and thus a myriad things
a fleet of ideas and the winds are the words
whatever you think then that's whatever you heard

Israfel Israfel Israfel
I'll never quite know what you were meaning to tell?
