Buried in your heart

by Khalid M Darwish   Jun 22, 2012

Have you ever seen love nest built with mastery,
carried over basement made of the hands of comfort?
With bricks made of our tears, cemented with grief!
That is our sincere love!

Have you ever felt the tickle of morning breeze,
mixed with fresh fragrance coming from the far east?
Sent with love messenger sitting on an angel broad wings!
That resembled your breath!

Have you ever tried to reform any glass when broken,
after having received a painful blow of volcano of sorrows?
Scattered into tiny pieces everywhere in the world of sorrows!
That's really my broken heart!

Have you ever tested the softness of the luxury mansions,
with sofas, all comfortable being lined with silk and brocade?
When you sit you're in a deep sleep, dreaming wouldn't end!
This doesn't even emulate your cheeks!

Have you ever heard monologue twitters of birds of paradise,
with the shy cheeks getting pink and red lips widely smiling?
showing teeth resembling a rosary, reflecting the sunlight!
These resemble your chuckles!

Take my heart, my soul and my breath
but keep me buried in your heart
