The Devil Within

by Jump from Life   Jun 29, 2012

The wind blows cold,
as I stand alone.
My soul has been sold
while I chill to the bone.

Flames are licking my skin
while he dances around my grave,
taunting me, saying he'll win
and my blood is what he craves.

The devil has played me for a fool
as chains bite deep into me.
I'm now bound forever, the devil's new tool
but deep inside, I'm longing to be free.
