Theatre

by Karla   Jun 30, 2012

Yesterday is today:
pseudo faces, alter-egos,
mechanisms engendering
excruciating words and nausea.

A comfortable truth for all:
rhinoceroses licking Ionesco's hands.

(The vision is precarious
and everything is in its place
but her)

You have described Life here as a Theater. It really is. Humans are actors, but I think they aren't worth Hollywood or Bollywood. They just do not show who they really are, and instead, they let their 'alter egos' talk instead of them.

I guess you have so much life here. So much reality and so much wisdom. Yes, life is a theatre where we clap for perfect roleplays and forget who we really are. Life is a chaotic theatre where you cannot distniguish between who is an actor and who is the audience. This gave me so much to think about. Thank you for sharing, Karla!

This reminds me of the olden time theatre where the words are spoken differently and they mean different things. I like what you have done with this piece!

Short and powerful, great use of thought provoking words.
