Blemish

by Maple Tree   Jul 28, 2012

Your bubbling beauty
aches to release
from my hidden mask.

Secretly, you adorn
hidden layers with elegance,
as hard as I try,
you will be exposed.

Zit, becomes a slang
for a oozing, glorified
blemish as yourself,

My iridescent shadow,
making your grand entrance
upon my quivering chin....

Dedicatied to Chelsey,
to remind her, a writer
can write about anything
and call it art <3 (giggles)
