Scrambled Words

by Maple Tree   Jul 30, 2012

Few years back,
my brain mated
with Rip Van Winkle
and we slept for
seven days,

awakening to a new
way of living.

Being in my late thirties,
I was forced to change
my life in many ways,
and very glad I did.

I'm now Dyslexic-

Being a writer,
it becomes difficult
when writing,
a new challenge
to choke on.

This is the first time
I have publicly shared
my hidden secret,
but a few of you have spotted
my writing errors,
and I thank you
from the bottom of my heart
for helping me along
this written broken road....

I think this is great that you felt able to share this, it is quite a unique topic to write about.

I loved your title choice as I had no idea what the poem would contain but after reading it I thought it was a fantastic choice for the topic. Xx

To be honest, this piece shocked me. Not because of the content but because I didn't noticed. I mean I haven't noticed anything strange in your writing.. It took me by surprised. This just shows how awesome you are.

I'm glad that you are overcoming it.
