Kid smiles

This is one of those pieces that makes the reader think and it got me thinking.

Paint.. is as cover the surface.

So my thoughts were give the kids smiles even if what you tell them is false?

unless you are a good painter...
paint you cheeks with tears..

--- as in be fake and just cry.? this lines reminded me of soap operas,
I used to watch them when I was a kid, hehe, and up till now too, XD
but the thing is that in the soap opera the people are great actors that they act as if they are sad when they are not just to get away with anything..

So based on that, I thought that if they are a good painter then they can paint anything even emotions.. But now that I'm thinking more about it.. A painting is something that looks good, and painters passion is to transmit emotions to the people as well, so by saying paint kid's lips with smiles, make them smile.. use your skill to make them happy. But then the other lines, tripped me off.

Over all: I don't want to babble much, so here is my overall thought,

Don't give kids false hopes, and rather do something about it. Don't just paint a smile but make it happen and to stayed there. Well done,

I'm sure this piece can create different ideas in the readers mind.

Kids should always have the opportunity/ freedom to smile; it's part of growing up!

It's sad to see children over in famine-suffering countries where kids are upset because they have no childhood; they seem to skip it.

I really like the use of the 'painter' - that was cleverly included.
