Skinhead Diaries

by Thomas   Aug 29, 2012

I shave my head
and rock the swastika
I scare people more
than a chupacabra

Everyone's convinced
that I have no brain
That my ideas and actions
are for the insane

But unlike my brothers
that join my noble quest
My mind and spirit
never have any rest

Cause behind this racist shell
there's any empty void
Evidence of an identity
once destroyed

That's why I
commit this violence
Do anything just to
break this silence

That's why I raise my arm
and scream hollow chants
Believing that race
is the only thing that bonds

But that is all for now
my sweet little diary
Can't wait for tomorrow,
going to beat someone in the infirmary

This is very clever, i like how you have delved into the mind of these people, great ending, great rhyming and a good pace and tone.

This is brilliant bro. You have a way with your words. I was also skeptical at the beginning of the poem, wanted to really see how you would end it and i cant lie, you have me amazed.

Its pieces like this one Thomas that shows me the strength of the way you write!

I started readi g and I was like, where is he going with this piece? The images were clear and vivid just like the picture you are drawing with your words. You seem to have a way of writing that somehow reminds me of someone, I really love it.
