Last Dance

by Maple Tree   Aug 31, 2012

My body is crumbling

such as an unstable

mountain; soon I'll

falter.

Tonight I'll dance

like a bird upon

a sequined sunset,

tasting the movement

within a heated breath,

twirling, getting drunk

on dizzy,

until the last chord

of a simple song

fades away....

Awesome poem Andrea.. guess it's inspired by all the dancing in the club lol

But in the end, I adored the dreamy tone... I felt like faltering between the arms of a ballerina :P
