My Last Climb

by Maple Tree   Sep 2, 2012

The thought of losing the
ability to climb your beautiful
fingers, leaves me lost
within a pile of fallen stars.

I will travel along your
soul, just one more
time, so that I can
feel your ageless heartbeat,
against my decaying body.

Heart screams out-

I need to feel the whispers
upon my popcorn tears,
fear of losing
the ability to travel
upon your bark of life
is a reality I'm not
ready to
face....

Whatever it is that you seem afraid of losing!
it's the power to adapt that have made us survive as humans Andrea!
you'll do just fine without! <3

I did like this piece but the mention of dandilions seems to be used way too much and in my option took away some of the originality but apart from that loved it <3

I think the last couple of sentences sum it all; not accepting what fate carries between its hands for us.

This piece moved me awaaay, and for the info 'popcorn tears' is a brilliant image!

    Incredible!
