Write so you'll die

by marlon lumangyao   Sep 7, 2012

The writer opened up the eyes
of those blindfolded from the truth.
it's passion made them realize
that they can still unwrap what's bold.
he throw words on the house,
to the buldings till in the house of the senate,
so they throw back at him
but not with words or the ink.
it's the ammo and grenades
and their endless blasphemies,
the lawyer to file him a crime
and demand him to pay them,
his dime?
the pen is mightier than the sword!
it's his belief,
so they put him to silence
in the morge,
for them to rest at peace.
another writer came,
another waste of a coffin,
my dearest country phillipines
democracy means?
