Forbidden love

by Alanis   Sep 13, 2012

I return to my open window. The place where I lost myself in your warm, chocolate brown eyes. My bare-feet, look like diamonds in the luminescence as I stare down in bewilderment. Why did he return to Neverland and leave me to damnation in this dreadful place? My wrinkles and aged skin take a toll on my appearance. He would never take me back. I am too old to be frolicking with boys. Yet I'm alone. With my hair greying and tears outlining my hazel eyes. Our love is frowned upon, forbidden. I still await that day. The day you take me with you and call me beautiful. And upon this day I wait. Until then I drink the poison of our memories. And cry myself to sleep at night. I just wish to see your rampaging shadow triumph the wall. Till the day I die I am faithful Peter and I shall wait your return with a broken heart and a uneven smile. The day you make me young again and unforbid our everlasting love.

Beautiful! Not only did you use a good choice of words but the subject has a lot of depth. Only one minor note: in the beginning, I believe the word should be luminescence because you are using it as a noun and luminescent is an adjective. Totally just the essay writer in me though!

    5/5 Very good work
