Forever and No More Always (really long)

You took her hand, and I gasped,
got on one knee, and I sighed,
you whispered to her four magical words
that took both her and me by surprise
I mentally panicked; I just can't understand it,
just two tears ago,
I thought you'd be asking me the same question

since that day you proposed to her,
that uneasy feling in my stomach stays;
if there were something evil living in my heart,
I know I would defintely steal you away

she decides to tag me along
while she finds her pure white dress,
can't stop talking about how much she loves you,
the same "you" that I've picked from the rest
I mentally panic; I still don't understand it,
seems like just yesterday
it was I that couldn't stop talking about you

I sit on the third row,
hearing the choir sing softly;
I can't watch as she walks down
my heart starts pounding quickly
as you exchange your vows,
I feel a sadness festering within me
she's marrying her first love;
the man of our dreams

and then before you leave, with her
you turn to gaze at me
I smile, wishing you congratulations
I mentally panic; soon, I'll have to understand it
you've found what you were looking for,
and when you walk away with your wife,
I finally understand that I'm happy for you

and behind your back, I sigh
"I love you."
and I cry,
I cry everything about you,
for, you're not mine
not anymore
