These tears

by Alanis   Sep 20, 2012

I lay in bed and drink these tears,
These tears I have collected from
My eyes that never seize to produce
Such salty, unsatisfying liquid.
I keep them in a jar and count
them each night, and dream
of cotton candy clouds of
lullaby. I think of my paradise,
bask in its undying beauty and
magnificents. I dream in colour.
I'm left to explore my imagination
And confused thoughts. I lick my
Wounds and proceed with life.
Why revel them to someone who
Doesn't understand? Life is my puzzle,
My maze. Which door with take me to
My storm of eternal dream.? And which
One will lead to my own destruction and
Despair? My tired eyes struggle to not
Close as my body gives in to nights of
No sleep. I give in as my exhausted
body hits the cold floor.

Very gloomy and sad piece... it pours out true, raw emotions that are instilled in you... I could see two ideas brimming up... sometimes optimistic and sometimes a deep pessimist... And I loved the flow, the imagination running throughout...

Typo: with should be will on 7th last line...
    Overall great FS:)
