Dearest Mother

by Alanis   Sep 29, 2012

I mourn on my mothers grave,
So much left unsaid in a world
Full of complexities. A road of
Love and hate still lies in the balance
And shall follow me for all eternity.
I dream dreams of forgotten words
Between two very different people.
I bring you fresh flowers everyday,
But not void it seems to fill. I cry
Day and night thinking of your
Infinite angel wings as they still cover
Me, but yet as a spoiled child I just push
You away and break them in fluid
Motions. My anger is vanquished and
Replaced with greater sorrow. My words
Are left unsaid, my love is left unshown.
My cup is still half empty. But now realise
What a valuable asset you've been. May
God place you on his throne and rename you
Queen.

This is beautiful and full of hope, despite it being sad in a way.

Ohh FS... this one is so touching.... Parents are always like a guiding light and their absence and value can never be filled by anyone.... I loved the way you have penned this...it brings out true emotions...
    Well done(:

This is beautiful and really sad because when someone dies (esp. a parent) There is so much we wish we could change or have done differently...but time runs out for everyone and all we are left with are memories and regret. Well penned and I actually got a little teary eyed reading...but check this part:

    just push
You away and break your them in fluid
    Motions.

    ^^

I love this piece from you,
