Moonlight serenade

The moonlight dances across your skin,a cool breeze blows through your hair sending extra beats to my heart.

As we lay on the grass next to the calm water I see her eyes looking back at me with a smile sent from the stars.

The scent of her engulfs me;the silence has never been so deafening,all I could think about was the beautiful girl
sat beside me.

I pull out my guitar and whisper a song of everlasting love ,imaging one day feeling her hand held tightly in mine.

Music stops , the world stopped spinning and with that first kiss I know it's meant to be.

let the candle burn till dawn while are heartbeats lay side by side.

    So much imagery and very romantic. I think this is a woman's dream... laying out under the stars/moon next to the one she loves and having him play a love song just for them...ending the night with their first kiss.

    Aww, this is such a sweet love poem, you really set the mood of the scene in the beginning leading up to the first kiss, describing how much he adores the sight of her and how he feels to be beside her.

    It is beautiful when the guitar comes out... very romantic!

    Wow.. This was truly amazing. First off, it's got a good imagery in it, and has a good word flow too. Love poems always show such depth of emotions that you feel for that significant other and this one most certainly did. Greattt job :) ((5))
