Acid drips from my nose,
dangling upon poor excuses
and designer flamboyance.

I shall splash in the ignorance
of a stained, crumbled parchment,
and place my period at the end
of his sweet blindness.

I wish to dissolve slowly,
like a time release pill,
resting firmly in the belly
of a winter storm.

I dare not hold my tongue,
for I am too old to hush my
thoughts and young enough
to make it sound sweet.

    OMG I LOVE THIS.
I'll try and explain how I read this...I'll try but I'm probably way off

    Acid drips from my nose,
    dangling upon poor excuses
    and designer flamboyance.

^^^I didn't get a pretty picture when reading that first line, I apologise, but really it was very creative and made me sit up and really gave that depth, if that makes sense...I get the idea here that you are saying that you make excuses for your voice and that it can be dramatic and over the top at times...maybe that's way off the mark...probably

I shall splash in the ignorance
    of a stained, crumbled parchment,
and place my period at the end
    of his sweet blindness.

^^^Here it seems that you are saying that written words are as strong as spoken ones, and that they can be interpreted differently as one reads...and that someone is blind to your words either way

    I wish to dissolve slowly,
    like a time release pill,
    resting firmly in the belly
    of a winter storm.

^^^I liked the addition of winter, as it looked cold outside today, and it ties in with the title which is a good things always.

I dare not hold my tongue,
for I am too old to hush my
    thoughts and young enough
    to make it sound sweet.

^^^This made me smile, because with age comes wisdom and opinions grow and change over time and through the years, yet you are so sweet and I liked that addition...

I feel this poem is talking primarily about people and there opinions and how we should not be afraid to voice them because they are allowed and should be seen as what they are, opinions.

Really strong piece here, as always, different but still awesome
