Confessions of an Empath

by ah satan 666   Nov 23, 2012

Absorbing
words through my eyes,
to the ever evolving sponge in my head.

I tickle your metaphors,
by humming your poetic lullaby...

making the words dance on the lines before me,..
as if to peak at your soul.

Something hides within these lines.

A truth i will find,
as I'm now intrigued.

My hearts beating to the tick in my mind.

I must dive into this write,
look a little deeper.

Charming all bricks of illusion, to become transparent.

Every word i read aloud,

slowly...

destroying your poetic barrier.

Leaving me
free to feel the words...
that roll off my tongue
onto my lips.

Then like
bubbles popping in the air,
I visualise the imagery you portray.

I soon realised
my gift was also a curse.

Your heart melting,
anguish in your truths,
overwhelmed this broken heart of mine.
Fusing each dusty shattered piece together;
write by write...

with a memory
of why I fell in love,

or a reason
for me wanting to feel love,

until whole...

I no longer feel broken,
Just free.

~*~*~*~

I guess this write will have to be continued,...
as the parties involved are still for filling there dreams!

Just know I adore you for this freedom,
and now you have a vivid insight to why. <3<3
