White-out Heart

by BlueEyedMystery   Dec 27, 2012

Like a blizzard,
this white-out
has spilled
onto my bleeding
heart.

Making it new
and pure.

Just like you deserve.

For you are
the savior
of my life.

This is a short but wonderful poem and speaks wonders to the readers heart, and is enjoyable to all. It speaks of the heart in a whole new way, speaking of the storm within and the raging emotions, feelings and loves.

Like Autumn, I feel, this poem reads as having religious/spiritual connotations you say a lot without the need for many words. I believe this to be a skill possessed by those with a true gift for writing.

This is a sweet poem, I like the title of this poem it fits perfectly with the content. I also feel like you are speaking to God I maybe wrong but this is what I conclude from reading your poem.

The first lines makes me think about how the beautiful snow cover the dirt and how white is a symbol of purity, I just think that the way you worded this is great...I love it
